About Me

Early Life and Education
I was born in Wenatchee, Washington, in 1998. I was the third born of four. I spent the first two years of my life in Wenatchee, later moving to Mercer Island, a small town in the middle of Lake Washington. I later received my lower education throughthe Mercer Island School District, graduating from Mercer Island High School. I am currently at Central Washington University, majoring in Business and Marketing Education with a minor in Environmental Studies, and I hope to graduate in the spring of 2022.

Boy Scouts
Scouting played a huge role in my life. My entire family is heavily affiliated with Boy Scouts; my grandfather, both my uncles, my father, my older brother, and my younger brother have achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. I progressed through Cub Scouts, later moving to Boy Scouts in middle school, eventually achieving the rank of Eagle Scout at the end of eighth grade. I spent two terms leading my Troop as Senior Patrol Leader with the end goal of growing and developing the unit. I joined a troop with small numbers and low activity. I successfully increased the population and participation exponentially.

Giving Back
Having had so many opportunities on Mercer Island throughout my life, I have dedicated myself to giving back for what I have been given. My method of choice for giving back is educating future generations, hoping to give them the same enjoyment I once had. Throughout high school, I spent a lot of time teaching those younger than me. In the winter, I taught skiing at Snoqualmie Mountain (later becoming the head clinician of the ski school). In the summer, I staffed the premier (and internationally recognized) Boy Scout camp, Camp Parsons, on Hood Canal.

Extra-Curricular
Many other activities I participated in included the High School Marching Band, the Mount Baker Rowing and Sailing Center, and the High School Radio Station.
